You are welcome to come and watch lessons before training, if you are unsure. When you come to have a go, there are plenty of students or instructors to talk to if you have any questions.
The path to the Black Belt involves aiming for the gradings through the year. We hold four gradings in the year, where a senior Grand Master of Taekwondo will visit us to run through the grading and assess if they have achieved the next belt they are aiming for.
The step to a black belt includes a range of targets for each grading requirement. For each step to the next belt, you will be learning the next pattern as well a range of other items such as set-sparring, sparring, linework and more.
As a club, we hold the tenets of Taekwondo as important aspects to life and training.
Courtesy - To be polite to instructors and fellow students
Integrity - To be honest and have strong moral principles
Perseverance - To try as hard as you can, don't give up.
Self Control - To control yourself and to not lose your temper. Live, work and train within your own self control.
Indomitable Spirit - To be courageous, even if the next step looks too difficult. Try.
